DR Analytics Recruitment

THE BRIEF
DR Analytics Recruitment engaged Kirsch Digital to migrate its website to a new platform without sacrificing performance, rankings, or user experience. The existing setup had several SEO inefficiencies, inconsistent formatting, and outdated structural elements that risked hurting organic visibility.
With SEO already driving meaningful traffic, the goal was to protect that growth while modernising the digital experience.
THE CHALLENGE
Migrations are high-risk for established websites. Even small missteps can lead to broken links, indexing issues, or major traffic drops. DR Analytics needed a seamless technical transition backed by strong SEO foundations:
- Manual implementation of redirects and meta data was required due to CMS limitations.
- The platform didn’t support clean blog exports. Content was extracted via XML, sanitised in WordPress, and reimported to preserve structure and formatting.
- Core Web Vitals needed improvement, along with upgrades to image formats for faster load times.
- The site’s structural formatting (headings, fonts, and layout hierarchy) needed refinement to improve readability, consistency, and SEO clarity.
- The existing UX lacked cohesion between business goals and user needs, limiting conversion potential and clarity across the user journey.
THE SOLUTION
Kirsch Digital delivered a multi-phase technical execution, including:
- Redirect Mapping + 301 Implementation
All legacy URLs were mapped to new equivalents and permanently redirected to preserve rankings and avoid 404s. - UX Alignment & Site Structure
We reviewed the existing UX experience and designed strategies that aligned user needs with business objectives. Key updates improved scannability, prioritised high-value actions, and removed friction across core journeys. - Heading Structure & SEO Metadata
All pages were restructured to have clear H1–H3 hierarchies, with custom-written titles and meta descriptions optimised for click-throughs and character limits. - Performance Optimisation
Images were converted to next-gen formats (WebP), fonts were updated for modern readability, and custom code was added to prioritise critical content and defer non-essential scripts. - Blog Consolidation & URL Preservation
Existing articles were retained under a unified “Articles” hub, keeping URLs consistent to avoid ranking loss and streamline future content publishing. - Final QA & Live Site Hardening
Navigation was refined, internal links updated, and post-submission messaging was configured to ensure a polished experience from first click to contact.
THE RESULT
While traffic data is still stabilising post-launch, the migration has achieved:
- 100% index retention across all key service and blog pages.
- Faster load times due to image and script optimisations.
- Streamlined internal navigation with no critical dead ends.
- A stronger SEO base to scale future content and recruitment marketing.
- A more intuitive, goal-aligned UX experience that enhances user trust and drives clearer pathways to conversion.
